this is the start of a very long project
some people have wondered why i never photographed my paintings before i sold
or why any record of them only exists in the backgrounds of other pictures
some people think im pretentious
this may be true
however the fact remains that i have never photographed or recorded any of my paintings within the last 5 years of selling art, sans the ones i never sold.
to compensate i have never sold any of my sketchbooks, so i guess i will photograph them
if you know me...these are the books i carry around everywhere and the reason why i buy so much tape

these are the books i usually freak out like a little girl if i cant find
these are the books i stop conversation for and overturn every couch cushion and search my car endlessly until they are found.
these are the books that are usally in my bag or in my back pocket when i lose them
these are the books i have drawn/written and pasted in every day for the past 5 years.


as of winter 2008 there are 54+ books of three different sizes with about 40-100 drawings.
these books contain drawings poems journals essays outlines to abandoned projects and all of the illustrations to my books
at the request of a few i have decided to scan every one of them and put them on my site
in addition i have deicided to make prints of selected drawings to be sold at my openings
